What We Do
We are leading the effort to support those who have suffered from abuse. By sharing experiences and finding your own way to heal, you are given the beginning tools to move past your traumas. We are not here to help you find resources for help, but instead to help you find the strength to begin or continue recovery.
Why We Are Here:
It is a very natural desire for humans to share experiences. We are wired to form social connections and empathize with others in various social situations. Our desire to share these experiences can foster visions in others and strengthen their confidence to continue surviving. When individuals share with one another, it deepens their knowledge and engrains what is already known. It also allows us to communicate not only with the external world around us, but our own internal world as well. This is a space given to talk about the past, present, and future so we are all able to grow and learn about other experiences.
By finding similarities with other people, it assists us to live happier and healthier lives. You may feel alone in your experience and as if no one understands you. But your stories and your visions can be extraordinary to someone else and also makes them feel less alone. By finding the voice in ourselves, we can help find the voice for others. We are all the same, in that we are healing from our internal struggles. Our biggest goal is to help you acknowledge that you are not alone and you can be in control of your own reality and healing process.
“People don’t always need advice. Sometimes all they really need is a hand to hold, an ear to listen, and a heart to understand them.”
